GENBAND Partner Advantage Program gives an opportunity to businesses to transition large-scale enterprise networks to Unified Communications (News - Alert) (UC) applications while maximizing existing infrastructure. End customers also benefits from seamless integration with legacy PBX systems and support of analog, digital, UNISTIM and SIP-based phones.
Black Box has joined as a Platinum Member in GENBAND Partner Advantage Program, which is the highest level in this program.
“We are excited to support GENBAND’s expansion into the large enterprise market which meets an immediate market demand for a logical evolution of enterprise communications networks to UC,” said Michael Laughlin, vice president of Shared Services for Black Box, in a statement.
“GENBAND fills a marketplace void with its comprehensive UC applications infrastructure while simultaneously offering unprecedented interoperability with existing systems and delivering a device-agnostic platform that can significantly reduce OPEX (News - Alert) and CAPEX expenses for customers without sacrificing feature rich functionality,” Laughlin added.
With its Platinum Membership, Black Box gives its customers access to the GENBAND A2 Mobile Office suite. The service allows them to use mobile devices including smartphones and tablets as if they were wired directly to their business office with the same Unified Communications features available on their desktop.
Black Box customers will also benefit from GENFuzion Developer Community, an open Unified Communications application development eco-system and application library that meets highly specialized vertical market needs.
“Black Box is well recognized for its long history serving the enterprise market, and this partnership represents a significant milestone for GENBAND’s Enterprise Solutions business,” said Mark Pugerude (News - Alert), president of Global Sales and Business Development for GENBAND, in a statement.
“Our award winning solutions support a roadmap for IP migration at the company’s own timeline, maximizing their existing infrastructure, and addressing the evolving needs of employees and customers demanding more from their devices than ever before,” Pugerude added.
