REDCOM to Exhibit its UC APL Listed Products

The U.S. Defense Department has made it clear that unified communications (UC) will be a key element in its bid to extend sophisticated IT capabilities to all users across its sprawling worldwide enterprise, including warfighters on the far edges of the battlefield. REDCOM (News - Alert), a developer and manufacturer of digital and IP-enabled telecommunications systems for carriers, utilities, emergency response and defense applications, is one company the Department of Defense (DoD) has turned to for UC solutions.

REDCOM will exhibit its unified capabilities approved products list (UC APL) listed HDX•C and SLICE Command and Control family of products, including the recently released SLICE 2100 Micro, at MILCOM 2012 from Oct. 29 to Nov. 1 at the Gaylord Palms Convention Center, Orlando, Fla.

The UC APL is the single consolidated list of products that have completed Interoperability (IO) and Information Assurance (IA) certification. Use of the DoD UC APL allows army and DoD components to purchase and operate UC systems over all DoD network infrastructures.
