TransNexus (News - Alert), a developer of VoIP network management and softswitch solutions, announced it has been selected by SyncGlobal Telecom to provide dynamic least cost and quality of service routing and rating solutions for its Metaswitch-based network.
SyncGlobal Telecom has selected TransNexus’ NexOSS VoIP routing, operations, and billing support system to complement its Metaswitch-based network.
The TransNexus NexOSS is a suite of integrated back office applications which complement the operation of OSPrey Route Servers. The solution provides VoIP operators with an easy-to-use Web interface for provisioning routes, rates, number translation rules and monitoring traffic analysis, quality of service and billing reports.
Additionally, NexOSS includes fraud detection and control by customer trunk group, IP address and calling number.
Based in Bremen, Georgia, SyncGlobal Telecom is a facility-based provider of local and long distance voice services, hosted IP PBX (News - Alert) services, high-speed Internet access, data transport services, private fiber connectivity and data center services.
NexOSS least cost and routing solution enables SyncGlobal to save money on routing. It also helps the company create specialized routing and billing tables for each of its customers.
“SyncGlobal invested in the TransNexus solution for least cost routing with QOS through the Metaswitch, fraud detection, implementing multiple expanded local calling area products, managing customer specific rated toll products, the ability to analyze near real time customer specific margins on intrastate, interstate, international, and toll free services, and as an application for auditing carrier related toll charges,” said Kyle Williamson, CEO of SyncGlobal, in a statement.
Earlier in August, TransNexus announced its software is available via VMware’s Solution Exchange (VSX) and Amazon’s Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2).
VSX is a virtualization and cloud infrastructure marketplace. It lets customers interact with VMware partners and developers. They can find and evaluate varied solutions there, such as virtual appliances, vApps and vCO plug-ins. TransNexus also offers VMware as virtual appliances.
