TelcoBridges (News - Alert), a provider of carrier-grade, high-performance and high-density VoIP media gateways, which bridge the gap between TDM and IP, and Gardenia Telco, a telecom solutions provider, reportedly expanded their footprint in the Middle East by deploying Tmedia, TelcoBridges’ VoIP gateway family of products, in five different countries: Jordan, Iraq, South Africa, UAE and Egypt.
The companies claimed they have not only the technology but also the experience required to support end-customers in the deployment of a core network infrastructure.
Gardenia has offices in Jordan, Libya, Iraq, Egypt and UAE, and recently opened a new Saudi Arabian branch. The company reportedly experienced an increase in Tmedia solution deployments. Divided into three product series (TMG800, TMG3200 and TMG7800), Tmedia provides a VoIP gateway solution for every service provider.
Raafat Malkawi, COO at Gardenia, said in a statement, “Telecommunications networks are rapidly evolving in the Middle East, and carriers are starting to demand the level of performance and reliability that TelcoBridges' solutions are designed to provide. With the opening of our latest office, we are well positioned to support future deployments throughout the entire Gulf region.”
TelcoBridges’ Tmedia family of VoIP gateways is built on next-generation telecom innovation of both hardware and software. Just like the company’s other products, Tmedia ensures high density and high performance giving clients a competitive advantage. Some of the notable features of Tmedia are TMG call control and H.248, universal voice codec support and signaling runs concurrently in the same device.
Gaetan Campeau (News - Alert), CEO at TelcoBridges, said, “The combination of our technology and Gardenia’s expertise is a winning formula, and we couldn’t be happier with the talent and the professionalism that Gardenia brings to our mutual customers. Our growth strategy is a two pronged approach: expand vertically through more Tier-1 deployments, and continue to expand horizontally, with partners like Gardenia that are deploying and supporting our products in new geographical markets.”
