TelcoBridges Tmedia VoIP Gateways Now Interoperable Xener Systems' Class 4 and Class 5 Softswitches

TelcoBridges (News - Alert), a provider of enabling technologies, and Xener Systems Ltd, a provider of softswitch solutions, recently completed joint interoperability testing between TelcoBridges’ Tmedia family of VoIP gateways and Xener Systems’ (News - Alert) family of Class 4 and Class 5 softswitch solutions.
TelcoBridges and Xener agreed to conduct joint interoperability testing between their solutions in 2010 and tests were carried out by the engineers from both the companies.
Hyoung-Il Jun, senior vice president of business division at Xener Systems, said in a statement, “Our interoperability testing efforts succesfully demonstrated that TelcoBridges’ VoIP gateways, when combined with Xener’s softswitch solutions, can meet the needs of the most advanced network convergence and switch replacement projects. We therefore feel very comfortable recommending that service providers consider TelcoBridges Tmedia gateways as the perfect complement to our market-leading softswitch.”
The successful completion of the interoperability testing means that services providers can now realize better service by opting for a solution that is based on Xener as well as TelcoBridges’ products.
TelcoBridges claimed that a solution based on TelcoBridges’ Tmedia gateways and Xener’s softswitch can help mobile and wireline service providers easily attain high-end carrier-grade reliability, performance, and operating-efficiency in their network convergence efforts.
TelcoBridges claimed that its Tmedia VoIP media gateways are the industry’s most reliable and stable gateways, boasting more than 99.999 percent availability before adding in high availability scheme such as redundancy. The gateways feature the TB analytics suite of monitoring and diagnostic tools that lets users to better manage and control their entire network.
The Xener softswitches deliver robust interoperability with all packet and circuit network elements including legacy IN along with flexible routing and translation for efficient resources utilization. They also provide efficient communications internally, controlling third-party platforms and interfacing with other softswitch networks.
