Softswitch Featured ArticleT3 Telecom Software Announce Integration of Voicemail Apps Into Tadiran Telecom's SeamailOctober 03, 2008
T3 Telecom Software’s SIP telephony voicemail application is now fully integrated into Tadiran’s (News - Alert) IP-PBX products, the company said.
The two companies are engaged in an OEM partnership where T3 Telecom Software’s T3main is the basis for Tadiran’s Coral SeaMail, a built-in SIP-based voicemail application for Coral IPx Office and the new Coral Sea Softswitch servers.
“The T3 products are a perfect fit for our VoIP systems. The applications not only lead the industry in terms of innovation and ‘value’ features, but the technology is field proven. And it is all done with SIP, which provides great hardware cost savings as well,” said Tadiran Telecom CEO Zeev Rubinstein.
In fact, Tadiran Telecom, a leading global IP business telephone and communications supplier, serves businesses and organizations of all sizes with a comprehensive family of products. Tadiran distributes IP communications solutions to some of the world’s largest companies and organizations across 41 countries through authorized business partners.
“Tadiran owners expect and receive highly scalable, flexible and innovative communication solutions,” said Livneh.
Livneh says the company plans to incorporate their SIP-enabled platform into SeaMail so Tadiran can continue to exceed expectations by offering unified messaging and other advanced messaging applications to the SMB as well as large multi-site enterprise environments.
In addition, the fully integrated solution offers Tadiran’s customers the complete range of T3 Telecom Software’s messaging capabilities as well as a seamless interface for administering both voice mail and the IP-PBX (News - Alert). T3 Telecom Software functionality incorporated into SeaMail includes:
• Clientless Unified Messaging – Fully-featured unified messaging functionality that allows users to work within a single environment, minimizes administration headaches, and supports existing IT investments as well as any future architecture requirements. The product does not require any client-side installations on the desktop and is MAPI protocol enabled to integrate with Microsoft (News - Alert) Exchange.
• Powerful scripting tool – an interface for programming highly customized telephony applications with a low overhead cost.
• Broadcast Notification – telephone campaigns that deliver automated messages
(emergency notification, appointment reminders) to audiences of any size.
• Voice Biometrics – authentication by vocal pattern to allow for secure voice mail and
account access, as well as secure physical access to a space (building or room) or phone
service (conference bridge or service representative). Tim Gray is a Web Editor for TMCnet, covering news in the IP communications, call center and customer relationship management industries. To read more of Tims articles, please visit his columnist page. Edited by Tim Gray Featured Events

Softswitch White Papers
Communications, by phone, fax, email, and more, are key to conducting business. As such, national economies are completely reliant upon the telephone companies that provide these services.
Military communications today are diverse and converged technology networks. The convergence of tactical and strategic networks around a broad range of technologies, including VoIP, TDM, SATCOM, cellular, tactical radios, SCIP cryptographic devices, WiFi, and WiMAX, make it a very challenging heterogeneous environment in which to deploy, network and operate.
